thankyou! took a week To make a full head of 70 single ended ones- my first time so I was pretty slow.. picked up a vid on youtube and took my friend four hours to braid them in. Apparently they can last bout 2-3 months then you have to redo em. But if you maintain the dreads n keep them clean you can keep reusing them.. hope this helps!

WANT TO BE A SUBJECT IN MY WORK? Check out my art work on my page, I have a project due for local exhibition within the next 5 weeks. It is based around raising awareness for suicide and depression its doesn’t have to be on any extreme bases, its raising awareness for any form of depression, how ppl dealt with it, how it effected you (directly or indirectly) or what helped. Its pretty much to show any sufferers that are trying to supress the issues that everyone from all walks of life go through these phases although most cannot come to terms with getting help or simply talking about it without fear of being judged or being percieved as weak. Thats when the feeling get suppressed and manifests further into something darker in some cases. I know i’ve been pretty dam low and always put a front on for these very reasons.. all I ask is a short summary of how this has effected you some keywords decribing your emotions at the time that could be incorporated into a expressive portrait of YOUR FACE REFLECTING YOUR STORY. All I will need is a straight on head shot of yourself BEAUTY IS NOT RELEVENT make sure you have dead on eye contact.

This is deadly serious and I will send copies of your portraits to you with pictures of it being up in exhibition. Its the fact anyone has the confidence to stepup and be a part of this that exercises the whole concept of the fact that this is something that isn’t dealt with because its such a sensitive issue. If this has effected you think back to how you felt and I bet you felt like you needed/wanted someone to be there even just to talk.. if so PLEASE HELP.
